Breakdown is almost finished. I have one more song remaining before The album is done. That will make 13 tracks, 12 songs and the intro. I'm thinking about doing something diffrent this year.
I've always distributed my albums through cafepress and promoted them through DM. This time I'm going to do the same but also promote through Myspace my new music website (still under construction)and live performances (local only). I'm also going to make the album not only available on DM and cafepress but through my website as well as make the CDs from scratch (burn the disk, print the covers, put them togeather). It's cheaper than ordering 50-100 or so copies through cafepress.
The other thing you may have noticed is that most of the album isn't available for download. I've allowed each new song to be downloaded 50 times before I turn it off. Afterwards the songs and the album itself will then be available for purchase once the album is released. It will be cheap ($8.00 for the album, $0.75 per MP3). Hopefully, you can help me pay my bills and feed the family, seeing that my current job isn't.
Well that's all for now. If anybody has ideas or other ways to help promote and sell this album, I'd love to hear it. I'll keep you updated on the album and the website. Thank you for all you've done and I appreciate your support.
